School Board Calls Special Meeting
Training needed for teachers
Posted On: Thursday, November 10th, 2011 | 5:38am PST Story by: Doug Collins

School District 73 has called a special meeting of the board of trustees Thursday to address anaphylaxis training for teachers.

In a report to the board - Superintendent Terry Sullivan says the teachers job action has prevented the training from happening at the normal time.

In order to complete the necessary training - Sullivan is recommending the board alter scheduling at certain schools - extending recess periods and dismissing classes early on certain days.

Trustees will decide on the matters Thursday .
